- Clean the plates with an all-cotton cloth if starch or other residue accumulates after iron is unplugged and cool. Remove the dirt from the plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
- Any sediment or build up around the steam vents can similarly be cleaned with a cloth or Q-tip. After the iron has been thoroughly dried, turn the iron back on and lightly steam over an old cloth. This will help remove any residue left in the steam holes.
- When finished cleaning, turn iron off and allow time to cool before storing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! The Nori Press is now compatible with dual-voltage outlets and can be used with an international adaptor when traveling overseas.
The device applies direct heat and pressure to remove unwanted wrinkles on both sides of your garment simultaneously. A garment should be placed between the device’s two heated plates at which point the user should clamp firmly and drag slowly to press out wrinkles. For exact instructions on how to press and/or steam, visit our How to Use Page.
The Nori Press is 14 inches in length and has elongated arms that were designed to reach the center of a garment. There is space between the two arms of the plates that even when you need to reach the Nori Press further towards the center of a garment, you will not scrunch or wrinkle the outside of your garment as you reach inwards.
The Nori Press holds 120ml of water — enough for 5–7 garments per fill. Like all compact travel irons and steamers, portability and tank size are a direct trade-off: a smaller tank keeps the device lightweight and carry-on ready. For sessions beyond 7–8 garments, or when working through heavier fabrics like denim or structured wool, one refill is all you need. Refilling takes under 30 seconds.
The Nori Press is designed for everyday garment care, travel, and delicate fabrics — the garments most people reach for most often. It outperforms a traditional iron in portability, heat-up speed, and safety on silks and fine knits. For sharp flat-pressed creases on heavy fabrics (think military-style trouser folds) or large laundry batches, a traditional iron is the more efficient choice. Most owners who have both report using the Nori Press the majority of the time.
Hottest on the Market

The Nori Press is easy to use and very helpful. It's great when a new piece of clothing arrives and is stuffed in a small package with lots of wrinkles, as well as after a wash or other times our clothes need to look better. Their customer service is also quick, responsive and happy to assist.

The Nori Press is very easy to use. It is a very similar concept with the hair straightener but for the clothes. It is very light and great to bring when you travel. It has a different setting for different types of fabrics. It has two metal plates that when you press together in the fabric it will smooth out the wrinkle part. I like that it has a pointed tip so it is easy to iron the collar part. And one thing that I really like about it is the steam. Just pour a little amount of distilled water in the reservoir. It really helps a lot to smoothen out the wrinkle part of the clothes. I also like the storage/box that comes with it. It looks more fancy in the box and it helps to easily store it.

As someone who regularly uses a handheld steamer for my clothes I really liked the Nori Press. I was able to get crisper edges than with a typical steamer and think this will be great for travel. It is a little heavy when using but no more than my typical steamer. The only critique I have is some clothes, mainly dresses, may be harder to reach the middle of the garnet than with a traditional steamer, however the fact I can get crisper edges more than make up for that in my opinion.

I’ve been using the Nori Press lately, and honestly, it’s been such a nice little upgrade to my routine. It heats up fast, it’s easy to hold, and it smooths out the wrinkles on my clothes without me having to drag out an ironing board. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups, especially on shirts and collars. It’s not as strong as a full iron for really stubborn creases, but for everyday use and travel, it does the job really well.

The Nori Press is a small, lightweight iron/steamer that’s easy to use, safe on most fabrics thanks to its multiple heat settings, and even shuts off on its own. It works great for quick touch-ups, travel, and small spaces, but it’s not the best for heavy fabrics or big ironing jobs. Overall, it’s a super convenient option for light, everyday wrinkle fixes, while a full-size iron is still better for tougher tasks.
