How do I take care of my Nori?
It is recommended that you use our signature fabric facial when filling the steam port. If you do not have access to this solution, we recommend using distilled water.
Clean the plates with an all-cotton cloth if starch or other residue accumulates after iron is unplugged and cool. Remove the dirt from the plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
Any sediment or build up around the steam vents can similarly be cleaned with a cloth or Q-tip. After the iron has been thoroughly dried, turn the iron back on and lightly steam over an old cloth. This will help remove any residue left in the steam holes.
When finished cleaning, turn iron off and allow time to cool before storing.

Though we have tried the hair straightener hack before, we definitely would not recommend it! The Nori Press is built specifically for use on clothing. It has six fabric-specific heat setting so you never have to worry about burning a garment, elongated arms to reach across your garment and an all-important steam setting.
Does The Nori Press work overseas?
Yes! The Nori Press is now compatible with dual-voltage outlets and can be used with an international converter when traveling overseas.
How does the Nori Press reach the middle of a garment?
The Nori Press is 14 inches in length and has elongated arms that were designed to reach the center of a garment. There is space between the two arms of the plates that even when you need to reach the Nori Press further towards the center of a garment, you will not scrunch or wrinkle the outside of your garment as you reach inwards.
How much does the Nori Press weigh?
The device weighs 1.5 pounds. We can guarantee this is less than lifting an iron and board.
How long does it take to heat up?
To reach it's highest temperature (Linen), the Nori Press takes an average of 3 minutes to heat up. If your device has been stored in a cooler setting, required heat-up time may increase.
Is there a steam setting? When do you use steam?
Yes there is an optional steam setting! The Nori Press works as an iron, a steam iron, and a steamer. We recommend using the steam setting for delicate fabrics like silk.
